MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Shepherd University (23-3, 12-2 PSAC East) swept Millersville (11-20, 6-9 PSAC East) in PSAC East volleyball action at Millersville in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon. The Rams posted a 25-21, 25-22, 25-20 win. 

Junior outside hitter Kiara Rakestraw (Uhrichsville, Ohio/Indian Valley) recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 13 digs to lead the Rams. Junior outside hitter Kitanna Rakestraw (Uhrichsville, Ohio/Indian Valley) added eight kills, while junior outside hitter Mikaylah Hoy (Sharpsburg, Md./Heritage Academy) had six kills and 10 digs. 

Sophomore setter Victoria Nicholes (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin) posted 27 assists, while redshirt-freshman defensive specialist/libero Claire Ellis (Louisa, Va./Saint Catherine's School) recorded 15 digs 

Kylie Airesman had eight kills and seven digs to lead Millersville. Lauren Lucas added seven kills. 

The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host West Chester at 7 p.m. in first round action of the PSAC Tournament.
