LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Junior guard Abby Beeman (Ridgely, W.Va./Frankfort) of the Shepherd University women's basketball team earned PSAC weekly honors as announced by the league office today. Beeman was named PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week. 

Beeman led Shepherd to a 2-0 week to start the season. She scored 24 points, dished out nine assists, grabbed seven rebounds, and added four steals as Shepherd defeated Davis & Elkins. Against Frostburg State, Beeman put up 24 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and a steal. She was a perfect 10-10 from the free-throw line during the week.
