SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Graduate student defensive lineman Ricky Robinson (Mathias, W.Va./East Hardy) of the Shepherd University football team have been selected to the 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District Football Team. The team was selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). 

Robinson has a 3.88 grade point average as a business administration major in his undergraduate classes and boasts a 4.00 GPA in his MBA classes. He has 33 total tackles with 23 solo stops. He adds a sack (-11 yards) and a pair of quarterback hits. 

Robinson, who earlier this week gained All-PSAC East honors, will help lead Shepherd in first round action of the NCAA II Playoffs. The Rams host Findlay on Saturday at Ram Stadium with the kickoff slated for noon. 

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second- and third team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-December.
