LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Shepherd University men's cross country teams participated finished 23rd in a 23-team field at the NCAA II Atlantic Region Cross Country Meet at Lock Haven on Saturday. The women's team did not compete this year. Charleston won the 10K men's race, while Edinboro won the women's 6K race. Isaac Prather of Concord won individual honors in the men's race with a time of 30:35.6. Elise Leveel of Charleston took individual honors for the women with a time of 21:09.9.
The Rams were led by freshman Noah Cupp (Martinsburg, W.Va./Hedgesville) who finished 136th with a time of 37:14.3. He was followed by junior Stephen Rivera (Kearneysville, W.Va./Home Schooled)(138th, 37:36.2), junior Daniel Burton (Hedgesville, W.Va./Hedgesville)(141st, 37:50.8), freshman James Burdock (Stephenson, Va./James Wood) (146th, 38:42.9), and freshman Jonathan Weller (Martinsburg, W.Va./Spring Mills) (151st, 40:36.3).
