SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (21-3, 10-2 PSAC East) rallied past Bloomsburg (11-15, 5-7 PSAC East) for a five-set win in PSAC East volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. The Rams posted a 25-22, 20-25, 17-25, 25-20, 15-13 victory. 

Senior middle hitter Georgia Ohmke (Falls Church, Va./Justice) had 11 kills,  six blocks, and seven digs to lead the Rams. Junior middle blocker Elyssia Smith (Fredericksburg, Va./Colonial Forge) added nine kills and 10 blocks.   

Sophomore outside hitter Mikaylah Hoy (Sharpsburg, Md./Heritage Academy) added seven kills and 20 digs.  

Sophomore setter Victoria Nicholes (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin) posted 30 assists, 22 digs, and seven kills. Redshirt-freshman defensive specialist/libero Claire Ellis (Louisa, Va./Saint Catherine's School) recorded 24 digs. 

Mary Kate Mooney had 17 kills and Sydney Buell added 11 to lead Bloomsburg. Alyssa Cianculli recorded 29 digs for the Huskies. 

The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to West Chester for a 7 p.m. match.
