SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- The Shepherd University tennis teams dropped a pair of matches to Kutztown at Shepherd on Saturday. The Shepherd men (0-7, 0-5 PSAC) dropped a 6-1 decision to Kutztown (2-5, 2-4 PSAC) and the women (0-3, 0-3 PSAC) came up short on a 7-0 outcome to Kutztown (4-4, 3-3 PSAC).
Junior
Austin Cramer (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) recorded a 7-5, 7-5 win at number three singles for the Rams. Additionally, Junior
Ryan Cox (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) and freshman
Mason Palmer (Charles Town, W.Va./Jefferson) teamed for a 6-3 win at number three doubles.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Millersville for a 2 p.m. match.
