INDIANA, Pa. -- The Shepherd University men's golf team carded a  299 today to finish with a two-day total of 593 to finish first in an eight-team field at the Cecil Spadafora Invitational at the Indiana Country Club on Tuesday. Graduate student Owen Elliott (Hedgesville, W.Va./Hedgesville) gained medalist honors as he shot a two-round total of 142. Host Indiana (Pa.), the leader by one stroke over Shepherd in the first round, was forced to withdraw due to health and safety concerns. 

Elliott was followed by sophomore Chris Neighbors (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) (145, T-3rd), junior Tyler Potts (Owings, Md./Northern/College of Southern Maryland) (153, T-16th), junior Tyler Hardy (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) (153, T-16th), and junior Mason Kidwell (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) (160, T-36th).
