SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. –  Mercyhurst (2-2-0) got goals from six different players  en route to a 6-0 win over Shepherd (1-3-0) in men's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday afternoon.

Thomas Binkowski, Axel Aronsson, and Dylan Sumner each scored in the first half to give the Lakers a 3-0 lead at the break. 

Nic Munch, Sean Carrigan, and Nevado Elliott each netted second-half tallies. Salvador Rang had three assists on the day. 

Sophomore netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport)  recorded 14 saves for the Rams. Jonathan Gomes did not record a save in a shutout effort for Mercyhurst.

Mercyhurst had a 29-2 advantage in shots and a 10-0 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Bloomsburg for a 3:30 p.m. contest.
