BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Shepherd University women's golf fired a 405 to finish fourth in a four-team field at the Fairmont State Women's Fall Invitational at the Bridgeport Country Club on Wednesday. Davis & Elkins carded a 343 to win the team title. Kailey Pettit of West Liberty fired an 80 to win medalist honors.
Sophomore
Amanda Deener (Middletown, Md./Frederick Christian Academy Homeschool Umbrella Program) shot an 83 to tie for second place to pace the Rams. She was followed by sophomore
Alexis Parrotte (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) (91, T-9th), sophomore
Ciara Scafide (Knoxville, Md./Brunswick) (109, 16th), and freshman
Ryleigh Gerben (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) (122, 19th).
The Rams return to action on October 23 when they travel to Vienna, W.Va. for the Shriners Intercollegiate.
