BELLE VERNON, Pa. – The Shepherd University men's golf team shot a three-round total of 888 to finish eighth in a 16-team field at the Vulcan Invitational at the Cedarbrook Golf Course. Charleston won the team title with an 859. Alex Easthom of West Liberty won medalist honors with a 205.

Senior Mason Kidwell led the Rams as he fired a 207 and tied for second place. Kidwell had 15 birdies in the tournament to lead all golfers. He was followed by senior Tyler Potts (Owings, Md./Northern/College of Southern Maryland) (225, T-45th), sophomore Chris Neighbors (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) (227, T-57th), junior Tyler Hardy (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) (229, T-69th), and freshman Koke Dolce (Spicewood, Texas/St. Michael's Catholic Academy) (246, T-107th).
