LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Shepherd University men's cross country team finished 13th in a 17-team field with a score of 366 at the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle 8K race, while the women had four participants in their 6K race on Saturday.  RPI won the men's race and the women's  race.

The men were led by freshman Parker Mackey (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) who finished 67th with a time of29:16.2. He was followed by sophomore Noah Cupp (Martinsburg, W.Va./Hedgesville) (75th, 29:30.0), sophomore James Burdock (Stephenson, Va./James Wood) (115th, 30:50.1), freshman Nick Szabo (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) (117th, 30:58.6), senior Stephen Rivera (Kearneysville, W.Va./Home Schooled) (125th, 31:22.5), freshman Nick Yankle (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) (129th,31:30.5), freshman Aiden Sensabaugh (Keyser, W.Va./Frankfort) (138th, 32:22.5), and sophomore Jonathan Weller (Martinsburg, W.Va./Spring Mills) (142nd, 32:37.5).

The women were led by freshman Margarita Salvador (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) who finished 57th with a time of 27:59.3. She was followed by sophomore Janette Salvador (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) (74th, 30:48.5), senior Mahayana Garcia (Shepherdstown, W.Va./Jefferson) (75th, 31:02.1), and junior Kayla Austin (Herndon, Va./Westfield) (85th, 34:30.70). 

The Rams return to action on Nov. 5 for the PSAC Championships in Mansfield, Pa.
