SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The Shepherd University tennis teams dropped matches to Frostburg State at Shepherd on Wednesday.  Shepherd dropped a 4-3 decision in men's action and came up short on a 6-1 decision in women's action. 

Junior Nicholas Espinoza (Guayaquil, Ecuador/Colegio Aleman Humboldt/Iowa Central Community College) and sophomore Fabian Telschow (Schriesheim, Germany/Kurpfalz-Gymnasium-Schriesheim) each posted singles wins for the men.

Sophomore Sebastian Sevilla (Ambato, Ecuador/Unidad Educativa Atenas) and junior Yuto Shimotsuji (Osaka, Japan/Naniwa/Campbellsville) teamed to win at number one doubles and junior Arka Genguly (Pune, India/McDonald College) teamed with Espinosa for a victory at number two doubles.        

Junior Marketa Beladova (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic/Iowa Central Community College) posted a win at number one singles for the women.
