FLEETWOOD, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team shot a 381 to place seventh in an eight-team field at the Kutztown Fall Invitational at the Moselem Springs Golf Club on Sunday. Alvernia held the first round lead with a 328.
Freshman
Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) led the women with an 85 to tie for seventh place. She was followed by junior
Amanda Deener (Middletown, Md./Frederick Christian Academy Homeschool Umbrella Program) (91, T-17th), sophomore
Olivia Rosick (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (94, T-21st), and junior
Ciara Scafide (Knoxville, Md./Brunswick) (111, 38th).
The Rams return to action on Monday for final round action.
