GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Shepherd University men's golf team shot a two-round total of 618 to tie for fifth place in a 12-team field at the Hal Hansen Invitational at the Grove City Country Club. Gannon fired a two-day total of 603 to take the team title. Abe Holmes had a two-round total of 147 to gain medalist honors.
The Rams were led by freshman
Morgan Dehoff (Rohersville, Md./Boonsboro) who shot a 149 to tie for fourth place. He was followed by senior
Chris Neighbors (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) (151, T-10th), senior
Mason Kidwell (Charles Town, W.Va.) (157, T-32nd), freshman Nop Satijavitisarn (Yannawa Bankok, Thailand/International Community School) (161, T-39th), and freshman
Joey Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) (168, T-57th).
The Rams return to action on Oct. 14 for the three-round PSAC Championship in Lebanon, Pa.
