LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Redshirt-sophomore libero Claire Ellis (Louisa, Va./Saint Catherine's School) of the Shepherd University volleyball team has been named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office today. Ellis gained PSAC weekly honors for the second time this season. 

 
Ellis averaged 20 digs in a week where the Rams went 2-0 with wins over Lock Haven and Bloomsburg. She registered 20 digs in both matches and was perfect on receptions. She also had three aces in Shepherd's four-set win over Lock Haven.
