FROSTBURG, Md. –  Emilee Weakley scored a game-high 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds  to lead Frostburg State (1-1) to an 81-61 win over Shepherd University (0-2) in women's basketball action at the Jim Crawley Conference Challenge at Frostburg State on Saturday. 
Senior forward Cara Minor (Hundred, W.Va./North Marion) led the Rams with paced the Rams with 14 points. She connected on 5-of-12 shots with a 2-of-4 effort from three-point range. She was 2-for-2 from the foul line.. 
Freshman guard Peyton Grant (Plymouth, Maine/Dexter Regional) added 13 points while sophomore guard/forward Sydney Bolles (Elkview, W.Va./Charleston Catholic) added eight points and  tied Weakley with a game-high 11 rebounds.  
Rhiana Hill added 18 points and seven boards for the Bobcats. 
Frostburg State had a 45-29 lead at the break. 
Shepherd shot 32.3 percent (21-65) from the floor with a 33 percent (7-21) performance from beyond the arc for the game. The Rams hit 92.3 percent (12-13) of their free throws.
Frostburg State shot 40.5 percent (30-74) from the floor with a 29.2 percent effort (7-24) from three-point range. The Bobcats shot 73.7 percent (14-19) from the foul line. 
Rebounds were even at 40 apiece. The Rams forced four turnovers and committed 16. 
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Bowie State for a 6 p.m. contest.
