MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Shepherd University men's cross country team finished 23rd in a 23-team field with a score of 700 at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships at the Lamb's Creek XC Course on Saturday. The University of Charleston won the 9.5 K race with a score of 33. Isaac Prather of Concord took individual honors with a time of 29:25.0.

The Rams were led by freshman Parker Mackey (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) who finished 119th with a time of 31:51.0. He was followed by sophomore Noah Cupp (Martinsburg, W.Va./Hedgesville) (130th, 36:48.2.), freshman Nick Szabo (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) (146th, 36:28.4), freshman Aiden Sensabaugh (Keyser, W.Va./Frankfort) (151st, 36:57.9), sophomore James Burdock (Stephenson, Va./James Wood) (154th, 37:34.0), sophomore Jonathan Weller (Martinsburg, W.Va./Spring Mills) (156th, 38:14.1), and freshman Nick Yankle (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) (157th,38:30.1).
