SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Senior outside hitter
Mikaylah Hoy (Sharpsburg, Md./Heritage Academy) of the Shepherd University volleyball team has been named to the 2022 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Atlantic Region Team.
Hoy, an honorable mention choice, was earlier named PSAC East Athlete of the Year. Hoy paced the Rams in kills (302), kills per game (3.32), and ranked second in digs (239). She is fourth on the team in assists (21) and aces (21).
Hoy helped lead the Rams to a 21-7 overall mark with a 12-2 record in conference play as the PSAC Eastern Division champions.
