Shepherd Ranked Sixth in Final AFCA Division II Coaches Poll

WACO, Texas – The Shepherd University football team is ranked sixth in the final 2022 AFCA Division II Coaches Poll announced by the American Football Coaches Association.

Shepherd completed the season with a 13-2 overall mark with a 7-0 conference record as the PSAC East Champions. The Rams went 3-1 in postseason play with victories over New Haven, Slippery Rock, and Indiana (Pa.) before falling to Colorado School of Mines in the Division II semifinals.
