LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior guard Abby Beeman (Ridgeley, W.Va./Frankfort) of the Shepherd University women's basketball team earned PSAC weekly honors as announced by the league office today. Beeman was named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week. 

Beeman recorded a double-double and a season-high in a 1-1 week for Shepherd. In the win over Cal U, she scored 25 points and dished out 13 assists in addition to eight rebounds and a steal. Beeman set a season high with seven steals against Kutztown along with five assists and six rebounds.
