Box Score 2 WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Shepherd University (4-9) dropped a pair of games at The Spring Games in Florida on Friday. Shepherd came up short on a 2-1 decision to New Haven (5-7) in the early game and no information is available on the later game against Hillsdale (9-14).

New Haven tied the game in the fifth Selena Aponte walked and was replaced by pinch-runner Ashanti Truelsen. Truelsen stole second and later scored on a single by Hailey Laforte.
The Chargers scored the game-winner in the sixth on an RBI-single by Melissa Bike.
