ATLANTA – Junior guard Abby Beeman (Ridgeley, W.Va./Frankfort) of the Shepherd University women's basketball team has been named to the 2022 WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches' All-America team, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced today.
Beeman led Shepherd to a 25-8 overall mark as she topped the Rams in scoring (19.0 ppg), assists (8.1 apg), and steals (2.9 spg). She topped the team in three-pointers (74) and minutes played (1254). She leads NCAA II in assists (267) and assists per game. Her 19.0 scoring average topped the PSAC. Beeman also ranks fourth nationally in steals (95). She was a four-time PSAC East Athlete of the Week honoree this season. Beeman scored 20 points or more in 16 games and handed out eight assists or more in 20 games.
