SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University won a pair of matches against Marymount in tennis action at Shepherd on Friday. The men (5-5) posted a 5-2 win, while the women (4-5) recorded a 7-0 triumph. 

Freshman Sebastian Sevilla (Ambato, Ecuador/Unidad Educativa Atenas), junior Ryan Cox (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman), sophomore Yuto Shimotsuji (Osaka, Japan/Naniwa/Campbellsville), and sophomore Hamilton Hall (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) recorded singles wins for the men. 

The women's team got singles wins from junior Isabella Mascari (Morgantown, W.Va/Morgantown), junior Ally Frushour (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown), junior Morgan Burner (Winchester, Va./James Wood), sophomore Johnna Smith (Buckhannon, W.Va./Buckhannon-Upshur), sophomore Quinn Madden (Cumberland, Md./Allegany), and  senior Claire Dean (Church Hill, Md./Queen Anne's County). 

The men return to action on Saturday when they host West Virginia State at 1 p.m., while the women will host Lock Haven with a 1 p.m. start.
