SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Graduate student pitcher Ryan Bywaters (Smithsburg, Md./Smithsburg/Radford) of the Shepherd University baseball team was named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday. 

Bywaters tossed a complete game two-hit shutout over Tiffin (26-16) on Saturday. He fanned 12 and walked one over seven innings.
