MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Junior quarterback Tyson Bagent (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) of the Shepherd University football team was presented the 2021 Harlon Hill Trophy on Friday, April 15 at a ceremony at the Martinsburg Roundhouse.
Great American Conference Commissioner Will Prewitt represented the Little Rock Touchdown Club and made the presentation of the trophy. Prewitt was previously the associate commissioner for the West Virginia Intercollegiate Conference (WVIAC).
Talk Radio WRNR personality Matt Miller served as the master of ceremonies. Also speaking at the event were: Tyson's mother, Casey Bagent, head coach Ernie McCook, Martinsburg High School teacher and former Shepherd basketball player, Derek Gallagher, and Tyson's Pastor, Derick Amsler, of Crossroads Church.
