The Shepherd University Department of Athletics is deeply saddened to announce the passing of longtime Shepherd supporter and former Shepherd football player Ken Boone '76. The Kenneth J. Boone Fieldhouse at Ram Stadium bears his name.

"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Boone," said Shepherd Vice President for Athletics Chauncey Winbush. "Ken was an ardent and dedicated supporter of Shepherd athletics. His generosity has been instrumental in our success. He will be greatly missed. We will keep his family and friends in our thoughts and prayers."
