Former standout Shepherd quarterback Tyson Bagent made his NFL regular season debut for the Chicago Bears today against the Minnesota Vikings.

Bagent entered the game in the third quarter in relief of injured starter Justin Fields. The 2021 Harlon Hill Award winner completed 10-of-14 passes for 83 yards. He also rushed twice for yards and scored a touchdown on a one-yard sneak. Bagent completed 4-of-4 passes for 55 yards on a seven-play, 77-yard drive that culminated in his scoring run.
