BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Bloomsburg (7-2-4, 5-1-3 PSAC East) posted a 3-1 win over Shepherd University (2-9-2, 1-7-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Bloomsburg on Wednesday night.
Shepherd took a 1-0 lead at the 10:37 mark on an own goal.
Bloomsburg tied the game at the 18:30 mark as Kody Besser scored on a header on a feed from Braden Alicea.
Owen Hollobaugh scored on an assist from Anthony Schlee at the 46:03 mark to give the Huskies a 2-1 advantage.
Hollobaugh scored on a header off an assist from Sam Blumberger at the 85:29 mark to cap the scoring.
Sophomore goalkeeper Carter Cave (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) posted four saves for the Rams. Sean Blatz recorded a pair of saves for Bloomsburg.
Bloomsburg had a 15-2 advantage in shots with a 7-3 edge in shots on goal. The Huskies had an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Lock Haven for Homecoming at 1 p.m.
