LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Junior quarterback Seth Morgan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon/VMI) of the Shepherd University football team has been named PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office today. Morgan gained conference weekly honors for the second time this season.

Morgan completed 25-of-36 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns in Shepherd's win over Lock Haven. Both teams entered last Saturday's contest with 1-1 conference records, and the Rams now move to 5-1 overall (2-1 PSAC) with the victory. Morgan's 53-yard pass to Barry Hill was the first touchdown of the game and broke a 3-3 tie to make it a 10-3 lead for Shepherd, with the second touchdown (a four-yard strike to Jeremiah Taylor) capped off a six-play, 82-yard drive with 12:06 left in the third quarter to give the Rams a comfortable 24-3 advantage.
