KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Jalen Bryant scored 19 points and Kyree Generett added 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead Kutztown (11-17, 10-12) to a 75-68 win over Shepherd (14-14, 11-11 PSAC) in PSAC men's basketball action at Kutztown on Saturday. 
Junior guard Phillip Jordan (Rockville, Md./St. Albans) led the Rams with a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds. He connected on 9-of-14 field goals with a 3-of-4 effort from three-point range. He was 3-of-4 from the foul line. His 24 points are also a career-high effort. 
Sophomore guard Aidan Hughley (York, Pa./York Suburban) added a career-high 20 points. Sophomore guard Jarod Robinson (Laurel, Md./Glenelg Country School) contributed nine points and six boards.                                              
Robert Tucker added 13 points and six rebounds and Wesley Butler had 10 points and four boards for the Golden Bears.
Shepherd had a 36-34 lead at halftime. 
A tight game throughout, Kutztown took the lead for good at 67-65 after a layup by Tucker with 4:17 left in the game. The Golden Bears closed the game on an 8-3 run to secure the win. 
Shepherd connected on 37.9 percent (25-66) of its field goals with a 34.6 percent (9-26) performance from three-point range. The Rams drained 64.3 percent (9-14) of their free throws. 
Kutztown shot 42.9 percent (24-56) from the floor with a 37.5 percent (6-16) effort from beyond the arc. The Golden Bears hit on 87.5 percent (21-24) of their free throws.
Kutztown had a 43-34 rebounding advantage. The Rams forced nine turnovers and committed seven. 
The sixth-seeded Rams return to action on Monday when they travel to third-seeded East Stroudsburg for a 7 p.m. contest in first-round action of the PSAC Tournament.
