SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Redshirt-sophomore pitcher Trevor Sharp (Bunker Hill, W.Va./Musselman) of the Shepherd University baseball team has been named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week. 

Sharp, who was named PSAC East Pitcher of the Week on Monday, tossed a no-hitter in Shepherd's 5-0 victory over Lake Erie College on Saturday. He struck out 10 batters and walked just two. Sharp's no-hit effort was the first since 1996 and was the fourth in program history.
