SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University dropped a pair of tennis matches to West Chester in PSAC tennis action at Shepherd on Saturday. The men's team dropped a 4-3 decision while the women's team came up short on a 7-0 decision.
The men got singles wins from sophomore Sebastian Sevilla (Ambato, Ecuador/Unidad Educativa Atenas), junior Yuto Shimotsuji (Osaka, Japan/Naniwa/Campbellsville), and junior Nicholas Espinoza (Guayaquil, Ecuador/Colegio Aleman Humboldt/Iowa Central Community College).
The men drop to 3-8 overall, 0-3 in PSAC action, while the women move to 2-10 overall, 0-4 in PSAC play.
The teams return to action on Sunday when they host Salem for a 1 p.m. match.
