KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team has a two-round total of 770 to rank ninth in a 12-team field at the 2023 PSAC Women's Golf Championship at the Berkleigh Golf Club after second-round action on Saturday. Gannon has a 627 to take the second-round lead.
Freshman Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) led the Rams as she fired an 84 to have a 169 total to tie for 12th place.
Veara was followed by junior Amanda Deener (Middletown, Md./Frederick Christian Academy Homeschool Umbrella Program) (186, 36th), sophomore Olivia Rosick (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (191, T-41th), and junior Ciara Scafide (Knoxville, Md./Brunswick) (24, 52nd).
The Rams return to action on Sunday for final-round action.
