KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team had a two-round total of 770 to finish ninth in a 12-team field at the 2023 PSAC Women's Golf Championship at the Berkleigh Golf Club. Sunday's final round action was cancelled due to inclement weather. Gannon had a 627 to take the team title. Ditte Peterson of Gannon fired a 151 to gain medalist honors. 

Freshman Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) led the Rams as she fired an 84 to have a 169 total to tie for 12th place. 

Veara was followed by junior Amanda Deener (Middletown, Md./Frederick Christian Academy Homeschool Umbrella Program) (186, 36th), sophomore Olivia Rosick (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (191, T-41th), and junior Ciara Scafide (Knoxville, Md./Brunswick) (24, 52nd).
