SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University Vice President for Athletics Chauncey Winbush announced today that Erin Lee has been named Director of Game Day Operations and Marketing.
"We are excited to have Erin join our staff as a full-time employee," said Winbush. "She has shown an impressive commitment to our department and our university during her time as a graduate assistant."
Lee spent the last two years as a graduate assistant for Shepherd Athletics and assumed a majority of the assistant athletics director's duties. She has served as the primary game manager for football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and lacrosse. She managed football ticket and parking sales. Additionally, Lee spearheaded several fundraising initiatives, handled social media platforms, and served as the primary graphics creator.
"I am excited for the opportunity to continue working with the coaches and staff at Shepherd to enhance the game day experience for our student-athletes and fans," said Lee.
As an undergraduate at Slippery Rock University, Lee served as the head intern with the football team. She supervised a staff of 12 interns and assisted with the day-to-day operations of the team.
Lee graduated from Slippery Rock in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in sport management. She added a master's degree in college student development and administration from Shepherd in May 2023.
