DANVILLE, Pa. – The Shepherd University women's golf team shot a 391 to finish fifth in an eight-team field at the Husky Invitational hosted by Bloomsburg University at the Golf Course at Frosty Valley on Thursday. Millersville shot a 355 to take team honors. Ammala Moua of Jefferson shot an 81 to earn medalist honors.
 
Shepherd was led by junior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) and senior Amanda Deener (Middletown, Md./Frederick Christian Academy Homeschool Umbrella Program) who each shot an 88 to tie for sixth place. They were followed by graduate student Olivia Rosick (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (100, 21st) and freshman Kaylie Brown (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (115, 36th)
