HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Shepherd University tennis teams swept Juniata in a pair of matches at Juniata on Saturday. The men (1-2) earned a 6-1 victory over Juniata, while the women (1-2) recorded a 4-3 win.
 
Senior Arka Genguly (Irvine, Calif./Fountain Valley/Orange Coast College) and senior Jeremy Williams (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County/Wooster) teamed for a 6-2 win at number one doubles.  Sophomore Curry Taylor (Hurricane, W.Va./Hurricane) and junior Fabian Telschow (Schriesheim, Germany/ Kurpfalz/Gymnasium Schriesheim) posted a 6-2 win at number two doubles, while freshman Jack Schottler (Charles Town,/W.Va./Washington), and senior Khalid Alsadek (Irvine, Calif./Fountain Valley/ Orange Coast College) had a 6-0 win at number three.
 
The men added singles victories from Genguly, Taylor, Williams, Schottler, and Alsadek.
 
Senior Marketa Beladova (Hradec Kralove/Czech Republic/Iowa Central Community College) and junior Ximena Bolanos Tellez (Mineral de la Reforma/Mexico Colegio Makarenko) teamed for a 6-3 win at number one doubles for the women.  Junior Allison Cronk (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Mira Costa/Westcliff) and junior Kayda Shives  (Clear Spring, Md./Clear Spring/ Hagerstown Community College) recorded a 6-0 win at number two doubles, while sophomore Hallie Meyer (Martinsburg, W.Va./Hedgesville) and sophomore Alexus Vaughn (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) teamed for a 6-4 win at number three doubles.
 
The women also added singles wins from Beladova, Bolanos Tellez, and Cronk.
 
The Rams wrap up the fall season competition.
