SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Autumn Taylor scored a game-high 18 points to lead Clarion (8-2, 3-1 PSAC) to a 90-73 win over Shepherd (3-7, 0-4 PSAC) in PSAC women's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday.
Taylor connected on 7-of-11 field goals with a 4-of-5 effort from the charity stripe.
Freshman forward
Lamaria Estridge (Walkersville, Md./St. Andrew's Episcopal) paced Shepherd with 15 points. She was 6-of-7 from the floor with a 3-of-4 effort from the foul line. She added seven rebounds, a block, and a steal.
Sophomore guard
Samiyah Nasir (Gwynn Oak, Md./Howard/College of Saint Rose) added 13 points, sophomore forward
Carmaya Bowman (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) had 12, while sophomore guard
Cassidy Rhodes (Point of Rocks, Md./Brunswick) tossed in 11.

Kara Wehner (Staten Island, N.Y./Xaverian) had four points, seven assists, and seven rebounds and freshman guard
Trinity Turner (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) added nine points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
Siara Conley added 16 points and six boards for the Golden Eagles. Hannah Wilkerson tossed in 16 points and Arianna Seitz had 13.
Clarion had a 62-56 lead heading into the final stanza. The Golden Eagles outscored Shepherd, 28-17, in the final quarter to pull away for the win.
Shepherd connected on 38.4 percent (28-73) of its field goals with 22.2 percent effort (6-27) from three-point range. The Rams drained 68.8 percent (11-16) of their free throws.
Clarion had a 52.3 percent (34-65) field goal percentage with a 21.4 percent (3-14) effort from beyond the arc. The Golden Eagles hit 65.5 percent (19-29) from the foul line.
Shepherd had a 48-36 rebounding edge. Shepherd forced 20 turnovers and committed 26.
The Rams return to action on Dec. 17 when they travel to Gannon for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
