BOWIE, Md. – Shepherd University (3-4) posted a 6-1 win over Bowie State (2-4) in women's tennis action at Bowie State on Thursday afternoon.

Senior Marketa Beladova (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic/Iowa Central Community College) posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at number one singles to lead the Rams. Graduate student Isabella Mascari (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) and sophomore Allison Cronk (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Mira Costa/Westcliff) added straight-set singles wins.           

The Rams return to action on Sunday when they travel to Kutztown for a 1 p.m. match.
