SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The Shepherd University tennis teams dropped a pair of matches to Edinboro at Shepherd on Saturday. The women (4-9) dropped a 6-1 decision to Edinboro (11-6), while the men (2-11) suffered a 7-0 setback to Edinboro (8-6).
Freshman Alexus Vaughn (Charles Town, W.Va/Washington) won a singles match via default and also teamed with Brianna Caceda (Charles Town, W.Va/Washington) for a doubles win by default.
The Rams return to action on Sunday for a home match against Mercyhurst at 1:30 pm.
