SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (5-10, 2-4 PSAC East) handed Shippensburg (3-14, 1-3 PSAC East) a 4-3 loss in PSAC East women's tennis action at Shepherd on Tuesday.

Senior Marketa Beladova  (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic/Iowa Central Community College), sophomore Ximena Bolanos Tellez (Mineral de la Reforma, Mexico/Colegio Makarenko), and graduate student Isabella Mascari (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) all posted singles wins for the Rams.

Beladova and Tellez teamed for a 6-1 win at number one doubles while Mascari and sophomore Kayda Shives (Clear Spring, Md./Clear Spring/Hagerstown Community College) teamed for a 6-1 triumph at number two doubles to give the Rams the doubles point and the victory.

The Rams return to action on Sunday when they travel to East Stroudsburg for a 2 p.m. match.
