EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Shepherd University (6-10, 3-4 PSAC East) handed East Stroudsburg (1-10, 0-5 PSAC East) a 6-1 loss in PSAC East women's tennis action at East Stroudsburg on Sunday.
 
Senior Marketa Beladova  (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic/Iowa Central Community College), sophomore Ximena Bolanos Tellez (Mineral de la Reforma, Mexico/Colegio Makarenko), graduate student Isabella Mascari (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown), freshman Alexus Vaughan (Charles Town W.Va./Washington) and sophomore Allison Cronk (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Mira Costa Westcliff) all posted singles wins for the Rams.
 
Beladova and Tellez teamed for a 6-0 win at number one doubles while Mascari and sophomore Kayda Shives (Clear Spring, Md./Clear Spring/Hagerstown Community College) teamed for a 6-4 triumph at number two doubles. Freshmen Alexus Vaughan (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) and Brianna Caceda  (Charles Town W. Va./Washington) posted a win by default at number three doubles.
 
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to West Chester for a 1 p.m. match.
