WHEELING, W.Va. – The Shepherd University men's golf team finished first-round action on Monday at the NCAA II Atlantic East Region Men's Golf Preview at the Oglebay Resort Jones Course. The Rams shot a 401 and are currently 13th in a 26-team field.
 
Sophomore Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) shot a 74 to tie for ninth place to pace the Rams. He was followed by sophomore Joey Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) (79, 50th), sophomore Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) (81, T-73rd), sophomore Nop Satjavitvisarn (Yannawa Bangkok, Thailand/International Community School) (83, T-89th), and graduate student Chris Neighbors (Charles. Town, W.Va./Washington) (84, T-98th). 
 
The Rams return to action on Tuesday for final round tourney action.
