KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Three members of the Shepherd University women's golf team competed in the PSAC Women's Golf Championship at the Berkleigh Golf Club. Ditte Petersen of Gannon is in the first-round leader after firing a 71. Gannon shot a 306 to take the team lead.
Sophomore
Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired an 81 to tie for ninth place to lead the women. She was followed by senior
Olivia Rosick (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (85, T-21st) and sophomore
Ryley Bolyard (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville/Meredith College) (102, 53rd).
The Rams return to action on Saturday for second round play of the PSAC Championship.
