SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The Shepherd tennis teams dropped a pair of matches to Millersville at Shepherd on Tuesday. The women (4-8, 1-2 PSAC East) dropped a 6-1 decision to Millersville (8-6, 1-0 PSAC East), while the men (2-10, 0-1) suffered a 7-0 setback to Millersville (8-6, 2-2 PSAC East).
Senior Marketa Beladova (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic/Iowa Central Community College) posted a 4-6, 7-5, 10-4 win at number one singles to lead the women.
The Rams return to action on Saturday for a home match against Edinboro at 3:00 pm.
