Former Shepherd All-American outfielder Brenton Doyle has been named National League Player of the Week presented by Chevrolet.
Doyle, an outfielder for the Colorado Rockies, hit .524 (11-for-21) with four homers, nine RBI, four doubles, four walks, five runs scored, a stolen base, a 1.268 slugging percentage and a .600 on-base percentage in six games last week.
