Shepherd Announces Women’s Lacrosse Recruiting Class

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University head women's lacrosse coach Jenny Cavey announced the 2025 recruiting class. Seven student-athletes will join the Rams for the 2025 season.
 
Gracey Lyon (Port Tobacco, Md./McDonough), a midfielder, lettered in lacrosse, soccer and unified bocce at McDonough. She recorded 107 draw controls, 52 goals, 20 assists, 24 ground balls, and 14 caused turnovers in her senior season.
 
Emily Meyer (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale), a defender, lettered in lacrosse, flag football, and wrestling at Oakdale. She was named to the 2023 Frederick County Girls Lacrosse Underclassmen Team and garnered honorable mention All-County lacrosse honors in 2024. She gained second team All-County in flag football and added Oakdale Girls Wrestling MVP honors.
 
Grace Meyer (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale), an attacker, lettered in lacrosse and flag football at Oakdale. She earned All-County Underclassmen honors in lacrosse. Meyer added first team All-County honors in flag football.
 
Riley Samuda (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora), a midfielder/defender, lettered in lacrosse and basketball at Tuscarora. She was named the Nea Onnim No Sua A, Ohu Scholar Award winner. Samuda won Basketball MVP honors in 2021-22.
 
Katherine Stevenson (Middletown, Md./Middletown), a midfielder, lettered in lacrosse, basketball, and flag football at Middletown. She was a member of the 2023 Maryland 2A girls lacrosse state finalist team. Stevenson earned honorable mention All-County honors from the Frederick News Post in 2023 and 2024.
 
Britney Warner (Hughesville, Md./La Plata), a midfielder, lettered four years in lacrosse at La Plata. She was named to the National Unstoppable Offensive Club. Warner earned Best Midfielder honors. She added Minds in Motion Scholar-Athlete recognition.
 
Jordan White (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run), a midfielder,  lettered in lacrosse, basketball, and field hockey at Kettle Run.  She garnered second team All-Region and first team All-Region At Large honors in lacrosse. White recorded 87 goals, 25 assists, 160 draw controls, 47 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers, and six interceptions.
