Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 INDIANA, Pa. – Shepherd University dropped a pair of matches at the IUP Tournament on Saturday. The Rams (8-4) dropped a 3-1 (25-22, 17-25, 25-23, 25-21) decision in an early match against host Indiana (Pa.) (10-2) before dropping a 3-1 (25-23, 19-25, 25-17, 25-23) decision to Chestnut Hill (3-3) in a later match.

Senior right side Joi Fairweather (Tamarac, Fla./Calvary Christian Academy) recorded 12 kills and sophomore middle hitter Rylee Lenz (Earleville, Md./Bohemia Manor) added 10 against IUP.

Junior setter Macy Buso (Parker, Colorado/Chaparral) (13) contributed 23 assists and 16 digs. Sophomore middle hitter/right side Sophia Ryan (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) contributed six kills and 10 blocks (two solos), while senior libero/defensive specialist Kierra Anderson (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) added 14 digs.

Nyla Birch had 16 kills and eight digs for IUP. Olivia Heidel added 17 assists and eight digs.

Sophomore outside hitter Amya Davis (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) led the Rams with 10 kills and seven digs against Chestnut Hill. Lenz added nine kills and five blocks.

Junior setter Macy Buso (Parker, Colorado/Chaparral) (13) contributed seven kills, 30 assists, and 11 digs. She also posted a .385 attack percentage. Senior outside hitter Sydney Babb (Germantown, Md./Northwest/Montgomery College) had nine digs and five blocks, while Ryan paced the Rams with six blocks.

Erika Dubosky had 23 kills and 12 digs to pace the Griffins. Rachel Mace added 12 kills and 12 digs.

The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Shippensburg for a 7 p.m. match.
