KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- The Shepherd University women's golf team finished in seventh place in an eight-team field at the Millersville Women's Fall Classic at the Berkleigh Golf Club in Kutztown on Tuesday. Alvernia took team honors. 
 
Junior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) led the Rams with a two-round total of nine over par to finish in fifth place. She was followed by graduate student Olivia Rosick (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (T-27th, +30), graduate student Amanda Deener (Middletown, Md./Frederick Christian Academy/Homeschool Umbrella Program) (33rd, +37), and freshman Kaylie Brown (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (42nd, +48).
 
The women return to action on October 6 for the Kutztown Fall Invitational.
