SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- The Shepherd University tennis teams dropped a pair of matches to Frostburg State at Shepherd on Saturday. The men (0-2) came up short on a 7-0 decision to Frostburg, while the women (0-2) dropped a 6-1 decision to the Bobcats.
The women got a 6-3 win at number one doubles from senior
Marketa Beladova (Hradec Kralove/Czech Republic/Iowa Central Community College) and junior Ximena Bolanos Tellez (Mineral de la Reforma/Mexico Colegio Makarenko). Beladova added a 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 win at number one singles.
The women return to action on October 9 when they travel to Shenandoah. The men return to action on October 12 when they travel to Juniata.
